Supporting Leaders With Conflict| Executive Coach, Santa Cruz

Kim Robinson St. Pierre, ICF PCC, MBA, MA

You know those tough conversations your leaders need to have? They’re avoiding them, not because they don’t care, but because conflict feels uncomfortable, they want to be liked, and it’s easier to hope problems disappear. I help break the avoidance cycle and define a clear path to culture change.

The result is the transformation of conflict-averse leaders into steady, consistent communicators who address issues early and build high-performing, energized teams.

We'll explore how conflict conversations are currently addressed in your organization and/or on your team. We’ll talk through what’s working, what can be improved, and what the outcomes could be either way, both financially and culturally. This is a complimentary confidential conversation.

Schedule a Call

Based on what you share, we create a plan to create shifts, resulting in higher productivity, retention, and trust. This is where intervention meets results at the bottom line.

We Make a Plan

We implement the plan, gathering feedback in alignment with your organization’s culture and measuring impact before, during, and after the program(s). The results will appear in a variety of ways. We look at them all so you can see and share improvement.

Kim Robinson St. Pierre, ICF PCC executive coach and conflict coach for leaders

I'm Kim. It's nice to meet you.

Conflict is tough, and your leaders already know what conversations they're avoiding.

Every organization has them: the direct report whose performance has slipped and no one has named it. The senior leader whose blind spot is costing the team its trust. The culture problem everyone talks about privately and no one addresses in the room. Avoidance isn't a character flaw; it's human. Conflict feels uncomfortable, people want to be liked, and it's always easier to hope the problem resolves itself.

Left unaddressed, avoidance has a cost: eroded trust, disengaged teams, performance that quietly plateaus, and your best people walking out the door rather than working through what's unresolved.

I help you break that cycle.

I'm an Executive Coach (ICF PCC) with more than 30 years of leadership experience in corporate environments, 20 of them spent coaching leaders directly, and nearly two decades designing the leadership training and talent development programs organizations actually use. For 10+ years, I led HR and partnered with leadership teams navigating the conflict situations and workplace dynamics that don't have easy answers. I hold a PCC credential from the International Coaching Federation and two master's degrees in business management and in psychology, so the work I do is grounded equally in organizational reality and in the psychology of how people sustain change.

Here's how we get there.

Working together follows a clear path, built around my Integrated Leadership Methodâ„¢:

  1. Internal Mastery- We start with self-awareness, exploring beliefs, patterns, values, and blind spots, so your leaders understand what's actually driving the avoidance.

  2. Executive Presence and Execution- We translate that clarity into visible action: credible communication and decisive, consistent follow-through.

  3. Integration- We bring both together so the change holds not a one-time breakthrough but a lasting shift in how your leaders operate.

Let's talk about your teams.

Together, we'll walk through where you are now and what changes when your leaders build high‑trust, high‑accountability environments by engaging in the tough conversations that drive performance. Schedule a complimentary session using the link below, and let's explore what your leadership strategy could look like.

Senior leaders and HR teams feel the impact when tough conversations are avoided.  A discovery call creates a focused, confidential space to pinpoint what’s getting in the way, quantify the risks of staying silent, and explore how strengthening direct conversations can accelerate team performance, reduce avoidable HR issues, and rebuild alignment and trust across the organization. Below are strategic options for developing a culture where valuable, timely conversations become the new normal. Workshops and presentations are also available. Begin with one or more offerings and expand as progress builds.

Why Integrated

Most approaches focus on what a leader does: the skills, strategies, and behaviors visible to others. What they often miss is who a leader is on the inside and how powerfully that inner world drives everything on the outside. At Integrated Executive Coaching, we know that lasting excellence cannot come from skill-building alone. A leader can master every technique and still feel out of alignment because no external capability can compensate for unexamined beliefs, unresolved emotional patterns, or values that aren't yet guiding their decisions.

That is why our work moves through the Three Pillars of the Integrated Leadership Method: deepening self-awareness, strengthening leadership capabilities, and weaving both together into a way of leading that is authentic, consistent, and grounded. When a leader's inner clarity and outer presence are no longer in conflict, when who they are and how they lead become one, that is integration. And that is where real, lasting change begins.
